Land Speaks Identity | A Quechua Language School in Cusco
The design aims to explore the practice of landscape architecture in relation to indigenous identity and
land conflicts, adopting as the design of a language school in a heritage-rich and highly developed tourist
location-the urban margin of Cusco. The project inscribes indigenous identity in the landscape by creating
a spatial alphabet with the design of multiple forms and material expressions. It also tries to propagate the
Quechua culture by creating an enlightening journey with the design of paths and view experiences.
