Project Description
Saman Ziaie, ‘Transcending Boundaries’, Har Homa & Sur Bahir.
Transcending Boundaries creates a framework for dialogue between the Israeli settlement of Har Homa and the Palestinian village of Sur Bahir. It begins to introduce a third element onto the site through an architecture of networks, permeable boundaries, and inter weavings. It invites a third state, where the two settlements can cooperate with each other through places for exchange, community centres, schools and other social infrastructures.
