Project Description
Susan Fan, ‘Colour Engine’, Mount of Olives, Jerusalem.
The Colour Engima is an encoded machine reproducing the colours of Jerusalem at the site of the Mount of Olives during the light festival. It is driven by bubble drones which capture colour data of the cityscape. The output is an aurora of light and colour, creating a new dome above Jerusalem and used to increase communication between Palestinians and Israelis.
