Escape

In today’s ultra-modern and highly-sophisticated world ‘freetime’ is defined as a state of one’s mind, the feeling of freedom, the escape from a very busy and hectic society – the longing for the beginning of life.
Freetime = residual time – short unconscious moments of a “switched off” mind.

A series of experiments with liquids were used to explore and catch the secret of these reveries when earth stands still and one roams in his own world of illusions… building up an own sphere, wearing a protection cover – living inside a bubble.
What is it that makes us relaxed?
Can space influence our state of mind?

The incipient search for the ‘real freetime’ and the found explanations and definitions resulted in a light and suspended ‘architecture of relaxation’. Sensibility and fragility, playing with different perceptions and soft movements, optical illusions and irritations, reflections and refractions were used in order to create everyone’s own definition of a free mind’s space.
